Julie believes in the importance of teaching how small changes in our daily lives can add up to strength and vibrant wellness, and often combines acupuncture and herbal therapies with dietary and lifestyle advice. She is has helped hundreds of patients find relief from symptoms and taught them how to maintain it since beginning practice in 2007.
I came to Chinese medicine through a deeply personal experience, and have gone on to see how this seemingly simple form of treatment can have profound effects in people’s lives. By changing the way we think of our health, and adopting lifestyle changes in addition to acupuncture and herbal medicine, our health can greatly change for the better. It is my desire to share this medicine with my community, to educate people on the lifestyle principles that make up Traditional Chinese medicine, and hopefully to bring them relief from disease and pain, along with a better sense of wellness. I am passionate about this medicine and how gently and effective acupuncture and Chinese herbs can be. While not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sweet children, cooking for family and friends, and trying to do something with yarn.
Julie is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM), the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Association of Minnesota (AOMAM), Resolve, the American Holistic Medical Association (AHMA) and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).

I continue to be amazed at not only how this medicine can facilitate healing, but also how it does so through educating those who seek it out. I truly believe that educating people empowers them to become advocates for their own wellness and I strive to make each person who comes into the office feel like a co-collaborator on their way to vibrant health.
