Selby Acupuncture Open House!

As you know, the past few months have brought some exciting changes to Selby Acupuncture, the most obvious being the expansion of our clinic! We’d like to celebrate this time of change with all of our friends that helped make this transition possible.

You are invited to our clinic’s Open House on January 24th from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Please come see the new space, if you haven’t yet already, and hang out with us as we’d love the opportunity to get to know you better! All are welcome — if you have any friends or family members who are considering acupuncture, please bring them with you. This will be a great opportunity to speak to us directly about the benefits of acupuncture.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided and we will have a drawing for a free treatment. Hope to see you there! Read More

New Year = New or Renewed Insurance?

For most of us, the new year means throwing out those remaining Christmas cookies and resolving to finally organize that messy storage closet. For some of us, it also means dealing with new or renewed health insurance.

Are you using insurance to cover your visits? If so, don’t forget that the new year may mean some changes to your benefits and out-of-pocket expenses. To avoid any surprises, it may be a good idea to re-familiarize yourself with your policy’s acupuncture benefits. And remember that policies with a deductible can mean a higher co-pay until the deductible is met. If you have switched insurance providers, or are using insurance for the first time, don’t forget to bring a copy of your card to your next visit.

Dealing with insurance isn’t most people’s idea of a good time, but let’s look on the bright side. Without it, we wouldn’t have had the wonderful opportunity to meet so many of you. So let’s focus on making 2013 a year about achieving ultimate health, wellness and happiness! Read More
