Recent events have reminded us of how quickly life can change. As most of you know by now, we made the difficult decision to temporarily close our doors for in-person appointments beginning on March 18th. Since closing, Governor Walz issued the Stay-at-Home order, after which we decided that for the safety of our patients and staff, we will reopen at a more limited capacity (and with rigorous safety protocols) beginning in May. It pained us to extend our closure, as we love our community and are honored to be such trusted providers of Chinese medicine.
However, our commitment to you and this medicine remains stronger than ever! We are happy to still provide you with refills of herbs and supplements. Contact us today if you need any product delivered to you! Please reach out to your provider, call us at 651-224-6678.
And for those of you needing additional support, we are now offering virtual visits! Let’s face it- just because we are experiencing this new challenge together doesn’t meant that our previous symptoms (migraines, back pain, depression, irregular cycles, etc.) went away. In fact, your symptoms may have worsened. These virtual visits will allow providers to assess your current symptoms, note any changes from your last visit, offer nutritional and lifestyle advice, give you exercise and meditation resources, and prescribe herbs and supplements. Think of these appointments as providing “everything but needles”. This includes our fertility patients as well- there is still plenty of ways Chinese medicine can be supporting you right now. Lori, our Shiatsu massage therapist, is also offering virtual visits to anyone wanting an individualized self-care plan that includes self-massage, movement, stretching and acupressure.
Schedule a virtual visit now! You can book online or call us at 651-224-6678. (If booking online, select Virtual Visit from the top drop-down menu before selecting one of the virtual services. Provider availability will appear below.)
We cannot express how much we miss coming to the clinic and seeing your faces every day. Please know that even though we cannot physically provide hands-on treatments right now, we are still here for you. Do not hesitate to reach out if there is any way we can support you during these often stressful and challenging times. You are certainly not alone- we are in this together and will make it through to the other side. We will continue to keep you updated as this ever-evolving situation unfolds.
Sending peace and health to you and your loved ones,
Your Selby Acupuncture family
