It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Sara Gillet will be taking a prolonged leave of absence beginning January 2015.
Sara joined Selby Acupuncture in 2008, when her son Boone was still a baby. In the years since, she has brought joy, laughter, and a sense of calm to us and her patients, while continuing to grow her family with her sons Judah and Ren. She has been an incredibly gifted colleague, and she is going to be greatly missed.
Here are Sara’s words to you:
I am not sure where to begin.
My cup is full, half with joy and half with sadness, because I will be taking some time off in the new year. Selby has been a bright light and joy in my life for seven years. Leaving is difficult, but I have the opportunity to be with my children and enjoy seeing them venture out into their ever growing world. Watching them grow will be awesome. (Most of the time!)
I want to say an endless thank you to everyone for allowing me to be part of your lives. I am full of love for this work. Being able to connect with so many amazing people has made being an acupuncturist at Selby the best job I have ever had. And will ever have, I am certain. It is rewarding beyond anything I can possibly put into words, so I will just say, I am a very lucky lady and I am very grateful.
I will not be away forever. I know in my heart I will come back. I am not sure how long I can stay away! I hope to see you in the near future, and until then, thank you!
Lots of love!
Sara Gillet
